We bought this for our 6-year-old to get out on more family adventures -it sounded really fun, and it absolutely is! Everything about it has been really good, and it's such an easy way to make time outdoors more exciting together.
We bought the Bush, Beach, Backyard and Melbourne South guides and have been using them across a bunch of outings. Our first Melbourne trail was the Ricketts Point rockpool ramble at low tide - we followed all the activities on the card, and it was fabulous! We've already done quite a few adventures from the Beach and Bush guides too, and they've all been great fun. Such a fantastic way to get the kids outside and exploring.
I purchased these books Adventures at the Beach and in the Backyard as I thought that these would be the most appropriate places the family would go on adventures. Because he is only just three he didn't really understand the concept of the cards, but I'm sure Mum, Dad and big sister will help him with the fun and simple activities.

We ordered the Backyard and Bush Adventure Guides mid-week and were amazed to receive them the very next day. Even in 39-degree heat, the cards sparked our 5-year-old granddaughter's imagination and she created her own adventure indoors that lasted all evening. These books are wonderful- excellent quality, each adventure, side quest , prompts are carefully thought out and easy to follow . I've sent these to neices and nephews they are excited to explore the great outdoors ( would love to see the series expand to other states - great for holidays or defence families that move frequently)
