Live from Eco Barge HQ in QLD

We had the honour of spending time with the incredible team at Eco Barge Clean Seas on our recent trip to Airlie Beach.

During the making of Turtle Moon, we spent a lot of time researching sea turtles, their habitats and the threats they face.

So, it was a little surreal to arrive at Eco Barge HQ and see so much of that research come to life.

We joined the Eco Barge tour to see the work they’re doing to protect the Whitsunday marine environment, from collecting marine debris to rescuing turtles and giving some of the rubbish they collect a second life.

We also got to see 7 green sea turtles currently being cared for at the rescue centre.

We’re honoured to support such an incredible organisation through donations with every game sold.

Below are some highlights from our visit, including meeting founder Libby Edge.

If you are near Airlie Beach in the Whitsundays, we highly recommend the Eco Barge Tour to see their work up close and get a glimpse of what happens behind the scenes.
